Chopping off the Locks

As I have watched the split ends multiply and the hair that ends up stuck to my clothes and the inside of the vacuum, I have felt inspired to chop it all off.
While in Montana a few weeks ago we watched 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' with Carey Mulligan. I can't say I have ever been the biggest fan of the pixie cut but she looked amazing!

So now I am definitely going to cut my hair, once it gets warmer of course, because my hair is like another scarf.
I just don't know how.

I really like the short bangs on Carey but I am so not feeling confident about chopping off all of my hair. I am ready for somthing new, I have done short hair before but it was like 6 years ago.

So any suggestions for this girl who is way too in love with her own hair?

Don't do it! I don't know, maybe that's not what you want to hear, but coming from someone who cut their hair very very short right before middle school. Maybe you would look better with it than me, but if you decide later you don't like it, it takes forever to grow back.

I think you should do an A line cut. I think you would look way cute! I chopped a lot of my hair off last september and my hair left so good and healthy. Sometimes I miss my longer hair, but it will grow back.

Short hair is fun, but long hair looks so beautiful on you. If I were in your shoes I would keep my hair long. If your just looking for a little change maybe you should just do something new that doesn't include cutting off those lovely red locks(i.e. feather extensions)

I say keep playing around with fun updo's. Holly and I watched Sleepless in Seattle, and Meg Ryan's hair was done up in lots of neat yet relaxed do's. It made me think of you...DON'T DO IT...besides you would be copying Kim and Megan and you wouldn't want to do that! :/
