Murder Mystery

Can we just stop and talk about how cool this party was? I am in awe of Jessica and Laurie. They put on a perfect dinner and murder mystery game night. Everyone got into it and had a great time. I loved everyone's costumes and characters. Karli was a fabulous detective and helped make sure the professor and his starving musician wife weren't falsely accused. Thanks for the fun time, as always, Papenfuss family!

Cousins and Conference

Spending time with cousins you haven't seen in years is a great way to spend conference weekend. It was so fun to catch up with Marc and Andrew for a few minutes between sessions and dinner.  I am so grateful for all of the good decisions they are making and for the great examples they are to me. I am so excited to pull together a cousin reunion for next summer. Get ready all you Smith cousins!

The Alpine Loop

Just as fall was starting to manifest itself, we had the opportunity to listen to a session of general conference while driving the Alpine Loop. The drive was beautiful, the company, excellent, the messages truly inspiring. I really appreciated one elder who spoke about the importance of health and taking care of ourselves. Tacos and The SLPL

The first cold Saturday of the season we headed out to enjoy down town. We started at Taco Taco for the Dine O Round the city was hosting to encourage trying new restaurants at a discounted price.  I tried their fried zucchini taco as well a pork taco. Both were great though I especially enjoyed the zucchini one. Two thumbs up for Taco Taco which is right by the SLPL. So, of course, we had to take Zach to the library since he had never been. Brock helped us discover the worlds best movie selection and Anna showed them the children's section and the art of puddle stomping. It was a great way to spend a wet Saturday.
