We spent our weekend with Zach's cousins in Pennsylvania. It was about a 3 hour drive from NYC and it was beautiful!
Saturday we drove around the Amish country looking for canning veggies and getting a tour of the area.
At one stop we got to feed some bunnies and a goat. It was too fun watching the kids enjoy feeding the animals and trying to get them to eat straw and dirt when they ran out of feed.
We also got to try the homemade root beer. It is known for its strong yeast flavor. I was nervous to try it after so many mixed reviews but was pleasantly surprised. We liked it so much we had to grab a half gallon for ourselves.
Of course we had to stop and get a picture. It is a must do in these parts.
