Washington DC

A couple of weekends ago Zach and I took a road trip by bus to Washington D.C. We stayed with family and had an incredible time.

We went to the Air and Space Museum where we saw lots of planes and even touched the moon!

We loved hanging out with Bre, TJ and Dominik, our favorite 2 year old.

We explored the city and admired how clean and quiet it was.  It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of NYC on a Saturday afternoon.

We were able to see a lot of monuments and history including the Magna Carta, The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and The Bill of Rights. It was really incredible.

After seeing some dinosaurs at the National Museum of Natural History we dropped Dominik off with some friends. The four of us ate out at this great restaurant and indulged in some unique tasting, homemade root beer. Afterwards we tried to beat the setting sun to see a few more monuments.

We fell in love with Washington DC and will be going back soon to spend more time with family and enjoying this great city.  For a more detailed account of our outing and more pictures go check out The Finlaysons Blog!

Happy Monday everyone!
