Before we headed back to NYC we took a short trip to see some beautiful waterfalls, scenery, and history.
It was a little wet that day but like true Oregonians Bre and TJ, undeterred by rain, led the way.
It was definitely worth it. It felt so good to be out in nature again too. That surprised Zach and I a lot. We took the bus here and within 20 minutes we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. It reminded us of how small land-wise Manhattan really is and how breathtaking the East Coast is. We are big fans.
The falls were great and the company even better. We were impressed how well behaved Dominik was all weekend and how understanding Bre and TJ were. Its good to have some excellent examples of parenting and family so close.
