The New York Daily News proclaimed Ray's Barber Shop one of the two best barber shops in NYC, and for good reason.
I had the privilege of getting my hair cut there this past week. It was one of my favorite NYC experiences so far. A 70 or so year old man cut my hair with the steady and sure hands of an artist. He then proceeded to trim the edges and shave my neck with hot shaving cream and a straight razor.
Even if we end up moving further downtown I would make the pilgrimage up to Ray's. So if you're in NYC and want a truly amazing experience, look no further.
