When I arrived at the airport, I discovered that my plane was running two hours behind schedule. At the end of those two hours of extra wait time we were told that the plane was here but that we had to wait for our pilot. Finally, 4 hours later than scheduled, I boarded the plane.
That just gave Zach a little more time to sleep in until he had to come get me.
He showed me the ropes as I took my first New York train ride.
After unpacking we headed back to midtown to see Times Square.

After exploring we went to McAnn's for some food.
I enjoyed fried zucchini and Zach had a nice burger.
It was a great first day in New York and Zach had an excellent birthday.
