Grimaldi's

Grimaldi's is an iconic restaurant known for its location and coal fire brick oven pizza. It is just under the Brooklyn bridge on the Brooklyn side.

The wait, inside and out, was long. We would say worth it. If not for the food than for the atmosphere and people watching.

We enjoyed some black cherry Brooklyn sodas with our simple pizza. It was basic, mozzarella slices, crushed tomato, fresh basil, and olive oil.  We both really enjoyed the simplicity and wonderfully paired flavors.

Do we recommend it? Yes.

Happy Monday everyone!
