End of Summer

Our last two weeks in Rexburg before school have been so laid back. We have spent our time lounging around ,watching a few seasons of Friday Night Lights, and episodes of Master Chef.

We have watched our little garden grow and have taken care of our little succulents.
We even got busy and baked! Zach made a delicious apple blueberry breakfast cake, homemade mac-n-cheese and the best crockpot dinner ever. I got busy too, making peach cobbler and cookies that finally came out right!

We took our bikes out Friday to go explore the Rexburg Farmers market. It took us 5 min to walk around the whole thing twice. And since neither of us was hungry we walked away from all the delicious looking treats. It was a nice evening to ride around and enjoy the weather before fall really hits.

We have had such a great summer. We have enjoyed seeing cousins in Utah while celebrating the 4th of July.

We loved celebrating Pioneer Day and spending time with my family in Rexburg.

We had endless amounts of fun on Lake Powell with our good friends Scott and Nikki, as well as the rest of the clan.

We loved every minute we were able to spend with Zach's family in Montana as we hiked, relaxed and laughed.

Between Utah, Idaho, and Montana we have had one fast, but excellent summer. Good luck to everyone who has, or will be, starting a new semester!

I cannot believe it has been a full decade since 9/11. Zach and I both remember that day. I am grateful for a small town that remembers and shows their respect and honor.
