All Good Things Come to an End

Our trip to Montana was obviously full of adventures, but none as random as this young black bear that walked through the yard. This is a picture of it running through the neighbors field. Zach and I got out of the car to go inside, when we saw it only feet away walking through the trees. It was obviously out with a purpose in mind so we didn't bother him in the slightest.
We heard later that it was at the age where the mom kicks it out to go find it's own territory. So we think it came in to town following one of the canals.

Sunday afternoon we enjoyed good weather, excellent food, and cousins. We had a fun time hanging out with the tall and athletic Davisons.

On our journey back to Rexburg we stayed a night with Bruce and Barbara, Zach's grandparents, in St. Ignatius. We had a great time visiting with Barbara and walking with Bruce in this lovely town before they made their move to Utah. We are happy they will be closer to family but sad we won't have a good excuse to visit this beautiful town.

Our last stop before home was in Bozeman to see one of Zach's old friends. We had a great time eating, talking, and enjoying the weather and the great town.

Now we are back home in Rexburg, fall is rolling in and school starts the 12th. It has been one excellent summer to kick off our senior year. We are excited for all the excitement this year will bring and promise to keep you updated on every step of our journey.
