By Sunday all of the boxes were in the rooms they would need to be unpacked in, large furniture was set up, the kitchen and bathrooms were unpacked and every one was ready to be done moving in.
Not bad for a days work. They were blessed with a large group of friends and new neighbors offering their time and energy to help speed up the process. By the time Zach and I had gotten there all the hard work had been done and every one was ready to relax. Perfect timing.
Monday night we headed out to find a Christmas tree.
In no time we were able to find a full and beautiful douglas fir. With my dad's new truck we were able to haul it home with ease. They found it on their way to Utah knowing a 4 wheel drive would be mandatory for the new weather.
Tuesday night my parents, my grandma Rita, Zach and I, Kim and her friend Cameron, Holly and Ricky enjoyed 'A Christmas Carol' at the Hale Theater. It was like BYU-I's black box theater or a typical theater in the round. It was a wonderful performance that we all really enjoyed.
Wednesday we got to pick up Megan from the airport. We decided to ham it up and make posters to look like we were welcoming home a missionary. It is Megan and it is Salt lake. We a thought it was a pretty funny idea.
We were pretty excited to see her and her reaction. Giddy really.
She loved it. None of us could stop smiling and laughing. It was so fun to see her reaction as she came down the escalator and made the walk over to her fans.
We are enjoying this break from school and work. It has been so much fun visiting with family and relaxing in front of the 60 inch 3D.
Hope you are all having a restful and fulfilling Christmas break.
Sending love from our home to yours.
