Anna Turns One: Part 3

 

It was so fun to be able to enjoy so much family in one place. All of our siblings that weren't on missions were there, lots of cousins, all grandparents from Utah, both sets of Anna's grandparents, and friends we'd call family any day. It really made everything so special.

 

 

 

Anna Turns One: Part 2

We had almost 50 people singing Happy Birthday to Anna. I wish I had gotten a video, it almost brought me to tears to see and hear how many people were willing to come help us celebrate her birthday. She had no idea what to do with the cake and was not pleased when I got a dot of cool whip on her noes. She immediately tried getting it off her face. She did absolutely love all the attention she was getting.  She is one loved and adored 1 year old.

Anna loves playing with Eli at church and even though there were lots of people there she still enjoyed seeing what Eli got her. He even made her a water color picture at the party that he let her keep. It was adorable. We think the world of anyone who loves Anna.

Anna Turns One: Part 1

Thank you so much to the 55 friends and family that stopped by to wish Anna a happy first birthday. I was so touched to see how many people know and love our little Anna and were willing to spend some time with us. I cant wait to show her all of these pictures when she is a little bit older. We love and appreciate you all.

Walking

Anna has finally decided she prefers walking to crawling. While she did take her first steps at 10 months I'd say she really started walking at 11. She loves to carry things around and to bring us her toys just to show off and practice her new skills. I love watching her grow. 

Bath Hair

Anna's hair is getting so long in the back, however the sides are still a little thin. She basically has a baby mullet, but I just can't get myself to cut it, to even it out. We tried little pig tails, and though she didn't like me pulling her hair, they actually lasted all day. So, until I get up the courage to cut it, pigtails it is!
