We had heard great things about S'mac and Big Gay Ice Cream so we grabbed Lexie and our friend Mark to try out these places with us. S'mac is a mac-n-cheese lovers dream. They have a bunch of different types of mac-n-cheese from the traditional to the edgy and ethnic. It was so delicious served hot in individual cast iron skillets.
For dessert we hit up Big Gay's for Ice Cream. They are known for a cone called the Salty Pimp. Of course we had to give that a try. A vanilla cone with dulce de leche stripes sprinkled with sea salt and dipped in chocolate. Wow, so incredibly delicious. I may have to think of a way to re-make this one at home for anyone who comes to visit. Well done Big Gay, well done.
