Big Five-Oh and Two-One
My beautiful mother turned 50 the same day my adorable middle sister turned 21. A big year for both and so a big celebration it was. Dinner and a show at Desert Star theater in Murray (hilarious!!!!) followed by more ice cream then you could imagine at Letherby's. Happy birthday to two of the greatest women I know. Also Holly, my baby sister turned 19 the week before. Speaking of amazing women.... and when the heck did you become an adult?! I love that my family grows closer the older we get. Line us up in the same nursing home in 60 years and we'll be good to go.... laughing as we go. Thanks for the great party and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The Koolest Kids I Know
I know, cute, right?!? I got to spend a few days with these kiddos while their parents were in Hawaii. Anna loved having people to play with 24/7 and was so wiped out she basically slept the next two days straight. Play hard, sleep hard.
The last time I watched these kids was in a little New York apartment. It is so fun watching them grow and turn into mini versions of their adult selves. *sniff*

Easter Weekend

We had the best Easter weekend. Erica and Brock came in to town Friday night. Saturday after watching General Conference at Barbara's we made our way to Park City. We dropped off Zach and Brock to enjoy Priesthood session at the hotel while Erica, Paige, Anna and I hit up the outlet mall. We came home with Pizzas and then got ready for some swimming. There was an indoor hot tub, a pool that was half indoor half out, and an outdoor hot tub. We got brave and swam under the stars and really enjoyed tossing Anna around the huge outdoor hot tub. Sunday morning we woke up to enjoy a delicious continental breakfast and packed up while watching the Sunday morning session. We drove back to Barbara's where we finished watching conference and prepped the dishes we would bring to my moms big Easter Dinner. Easter Dinner was a huge success with quite the odd array of friends and family. Anna loved all the attention from her Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and Great Grandparents. I was so happy to see my cousin, who I haven't seen in years, and meet her sweet daughter.Thursday, April 9, 2015

Bike Ride
We took Anna out on her first bike ride. The weather was perfect and even though Anna hated the helmet she warmed up to the cart after a good run around the park.

Mahider Ethiopian Restaurant
Located a few doors down from Tosh's Ramen is this gem. Yes we know the joke, about an Ethiopian Restaurant not serving any food, but this place serves a ton of delicious combinations I can hardly describe. Somewhere between Mexican flavors and Indian spices and yet nothing like those, served on a sour, spongy, crepe like bread that you use to scoop up the meat and veggies and cheese. If you are looking for a completely different experience i recommend giving Mahider a try.

A Party
One of our good friends, Mark, was thrown a surprise party by his awesome wife Shayla. Anna loved the juice boxes and Marks 2 and 4 year old nephews. It was one delicious BBQ and the kids were so much fun to play ball with and watch go down the slides over and over. We love Mark and Shayla and are so happy they followed us to Utah.
