The Little Red Lighthouse

The first weekend in October we headed down two stops on the A train and took a beautiful walk to the Little Red Lighthouse beneath the big grey bridge, as described in Hildegarde Swift's children's book. It was fun to see our bridge up close and personal for the first time. We had hoped to take a tour of the light house but missed the time for picking up our tickets by about 6 hours. It was a pretty cute little thing and a perfect day for a family outing.
