The Museum of Natural Curiosity

Anna and I met up with some of the McCrery family at the Museum of Natural Curiosity. Anna had so much fun. She loved running around in the 1-3yr old areas. There was so much to see and take in that Anna was tired after only seeing 1/3 of the museum. I am looking forward to taking her back again and again. I think I had at least as much fun as she did. Thank you for showing us around McCrery bunch!

Tosh's Ramen

Tosh's Ramen will make the prepackaged stuff you buy in bulk lay untouched forever in your pantries. You can never go back (unless you do some major enhancing). This is by far the best noodle soup type food i have ever experienced. The pork was so tender it would fall apart on your chop sticks and melted like butter in your mouth. The egg was soft, and the broth creamy and perfectly flavored without overpowering the noodles fantastic chew. You need to experience this Ramen.

Taco Cart

This taco stand, just south east of Sears in Salt Lake City, is dang delicious and cheep! I am all about my cheep eats, as we slowly transition out of our starving student state.  The tacos and quesadillas don't look like much but they were tasty! And I really mean that, I enjoyed every bite, and I wasn't even hungry to start with.... If you stop by Sears, check out this taco stand, its definitely worth the $1.50.

Anna just loves modern art, as long as she can touch it, watch it, or hear it. She loved running around and looking at the interactive pieces, and of course, the stairs. She is the stair master.

Cousin Birthday

This Bennett, Vargas, Lee group spent most of our childhood years with in 3 hours of each other. As we were the bottom 1/3 of the 65 Smith grand kids we gravitated to each other.  This also ment we got to celebrate lots of birthdays in Oregon and Washington between 1995 and 2003.  As luck would have it some of us were able to get together as one cousin returned from her mission and as one was weeks away from leaving on is mission. It was so much from to visit eve if it was just for a minute and relive those fond birthday memories all over again. Its a great day to be one of the 65 Smith cousins.

Anna found 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' and said, "mom, dad"?!. Haha. What a compliment. 

Valentines Day

Flowers from Zach, sugar fee cookies from my mom, a train ride to City Creek, and an Indian dinner with family and significant others. It was a fun filled day with my little family and my favorite in-laws. 

A Little Blond

I am getting excited for spring and lets be honest, I want blond hair like Anna, so last month I lightened it up.  A little blond biolage/hombre combination. Low maintenance and a little more dimension. Also, Anna was the best sport through this 2 hour endeavor... like seriously... I don't deserve her.
