Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! I am so grateful for so many things and everything comes back to my family. I'm happy to be spending today with them enjoying our 16 month old daughter and our 5 years of marriage. Happy anniversary, happy mini birthday, and happy Thanksgiving!

Letter to Santa

After pushing the stroller around the mall for me Anna demanded that we stop so she could write a letter to Santa. She scribbled out her sweet little wish and sent it on its way. She got more than one "oh she's so cute" in the process.  She lives for those.

Black Keys

Paige gave the ultimate birthday presents this year. She got us all tickets to Jake Bugg and the Black Keys. It was such a fun concert! It was so loud you had to scream to talk, the bass was felt in your chest, and the lights were a show by them selves.  It was an experience I'd definitely recommend. Thank you, Paige, for giving the gift of memories!

Anna got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Bennett. No baby ears were harmed in the making of this post. 

Duck?!

One of Anna's favorite words is "duck". She picks them out in books and at the park and loves to make the sign as she says "duck" over and over again. She saw these geese and took after them trying to touch the "ducks". Zach was faster and kept her from actually attacking them. 

San Marcos Reunion

It was such a treat to be able to see so many friends from San Marcos. Most of us hadn't seen each other in 1-6 years.  We missed all those who weren't able to make it and hope to be able to do this again.
I absolutely loved seeing how much everyone had grown up. I am so proud of all the decisions my friends are making. They are all such a huge blessing in my life. Can't wait to see you all again soon!

Breakfast at Paige's

A few Saturdays ago Paige hosted a delicious Swedish pancake breakfast for family and friends in the area. We got to enjoy her adorable home in Sugar House with the best company. Anna enjoyed eating off of Amanda's plate and getting attention from everyone. We absolutely love being able to get together and enjoy family as often as possible. Thank you Paige, for being the best host!

Playing Catch

Anna loves balls. They are one of her favorite toys to find and throw around. She had a hard time with the game because she never wanted to throw the ball back. She would grab it and run. We got her to throw it or put it in the mit a few times but usually it turned into a game of tag.  I'm sure she will get it figured out sooner than later.

Lunch on the Lawn

Thursdays are food truck days at the Gallivan Center. I met up with my aunt Tracy, my cousin Kate, and Zach. Brock and Paige also stopped by before going on a hike to take advantage of this incredible weather. After a good visit, great sliders from Blacks Sliders, and a drink with my name on it Anna and I played at IKEA. Truly the best place to wear her out. 

The Pumpkin Patch

Today's coveralls and cow boy boots were a shout out to Annas great grandpa buck. You can bet if you swing by the house that you will see him rocking this very outfit in the most manly of ways.
Anna had a blast trying to walk in the boots (as seen in picture #1) but once she figued it out she was able to focus on the annoying thing in her hair. Progress, ha! She really did love sitting in the tractor playing with the steering wheel and the clutch. She almost threw a fit when I pulled her down until she saw some other kids playing on the hay bales. Close call.
