Anna at Grand Central

We spent part of our Labor Day weekend in Connecticut with some of our favorite people. We took the train to and from Grand Central Station. It was Anna's first time and she traveled like a champ. She was asleep almost the entire time and never once did she cry. 

Anna hung out with Zach as he bought our tickets, she even had her ticket out and ready for the conductor to come and stamp. And here she is looking so lovely in the middle of the terminal. Such a world traveler. Not even a month and a half old and she has already been to two states. 

Shake Shack

A few Saturdays ago we took Anna out to celebrate her one month birthday by going to the original Shake Shack. The weather was perfect as we walked around downtown and got in line for some food. The burgers were better than I remembered and the concrete frozen custard was pretty great. Shake Shack is right across the street from the Flat Iron building which is a pretty iconic one. We also had a great view of the Empire State building.  She won't remember any of this but we love showing Anna around the city.

Mr. Beck finds his Mrs.

Last Friday we celebrated Marks last day in the office. He was heading back west for his wedding. We will definitely miss having this face around town but are so happy to see him take this big step in life. Not to mention we absolutley love his now wife, Shayla. They make an awesome pair and are sure to be some of our favorite married people to hang out with.
I am so grateful for good friends that make good decisions, and that help make us better people in the process. Thank you for the friendship Mark and Shayla. Here is to many more years to come.

P.S. I absolutely love weddings and am out of my mind excited for these two. Dating is tough, being engaged is hard, but being married is out of this world amazing. Congratulations you two!

Central Park

Its always a party with the Allens. We are so in sync at times we even match our outfits, unplanned. Seriously, we all picked out outfits that matched. Blues all around.
So grateful for such a happy, helpful, fun loving, easy going family that puts up with me and my millions of photos.

Another Gray's Papaya Run

Anna loves Gray's Papaya, just like her dad. 

Monday we met Zach in Midtown and then headed up to Gray's Papaya to enjoy the best hot dog deal around. Not only is it a pretty great deal (5 bucks for two dogs and a fresh fruit drink) but it is one of the best tasting dogs we have had in the city. And that is why Gray's has made so many appearances on the blog. It's an Allen family favorite. 

Sunday Evening Walk

On Sunday we decided to enjoy the evening and walk up and around the Cloisters. It was so nice to enjoy each other and the weather.
Anna always falls asleep in her sling so she is so easy to take out. She also makes who ever is holding her an instant celebrity. Anyone that notices her stares, comments, or ohhs and ahhhs over how cute and little she is. Taking her on walks is the best.
