Croquet

Saturday evening after a BBQ we played a friendly game of croquet. Well, it started out all fun and games until team Paige and Jeff decided to whoop us all, twice! Then it got real, very real. We had to leave it on the field and end game time with some neutral ground marshmallow roasting. I think Ricky really displayed well what we were all feeling.

No, no. We all had fun and laughed quite a bit. The weather was cool but not chilly and it was good to spend time together, as always.

I am so grateful for family I enjoy being around and spending time playing fun games with, even if I can't be the winner every time.

Week 30

Week 30. Anna is about 7 inches long and just over 3 lbs. About 10 weeks left. No stretch marks yet though my belly button is officially flat. This will also be the last picture I think I will take in heels. The lower back is starting to feel all the belly weight, so good bye lovely heels, for a few months anyway.
We cannot wait to meet our little Anna girl.

Tandem

Last Saturday Zach decided to take the tandem out for a ride. He did such a good job of steering Megan and I around that I thought it would be easy. I gave it a whirl and I am sure Megan was more afraid than I was. We took it super slow and now I am really impressed with how in control Zach kept that beast. It was so much fun to cruise around the park and the neighborhood with spring out in full.

Treat Yo' Self

There are certain things one learns when growing up in the Bennett household when it comes to treats. #1. Any thing other than double stuffed Oreo's are not Oreo's and not worth the time of day. #2. When dunking said Oreo's it must be secured to a fork and dipped until the bubbles stop. #3. Don't touch Megan's Birthday Oreo's, ever.
We also like to indulge in Frosties, Costco sundaes and butterscotch dipped treats when shopping. It is the #1 picker upper for any size shopping errand.
In the famous words of 'Parks and Recreations' outrageous Tom Haverford, "treat yo' self"!

Big Sky Country

We spent last Sunday through Wednesday driving to, and from, and enjoying lovely Montana. It was so nice to step out of the busy city and spend some relaxing and quiet days in the Fairfield area. We visited Zach's grandparents, watched the men fix the brakes, watched movies, ate delicious food, and enjoyed visiting and being together. I would not mind settling down and retiring somewhere in this great state.

A Little More Party

We had such a great time visiting with the Papenfuss side of the family.  We played ping pong, tennis, catch, jumped on the trampoline, swung on the swings and enjoyed the weather and each other.

Week 29

I am measuring 39 inches around. I have passed my grandpa and my husband and quickly approaching my dad's width around. Turning sideways no longer is the thinner option and i bump my belly on almost everything. Leaning over a counter, basket, washer, or trunk? Forget about it. Two and a half months to go. I can only imagine how fun it will continue to get. Thankfully that is all I can complain about. I absolutely love Anna's larger, stronger and smoother movements. I am so grateful that I have had such a blessed pregnancy.
