What we did to Grandpa Rick

My grandpa Rick was about to turn one year older and we knew this called for something special. Zach and I had the great idea to prank him with some tagged snow and some delicious treats. My mom and dad helped us to take it to the next level. We had so much fun making this happen and we were so happy to see we had gotten away with it and that he hadn't engraved our names on any bullets.

Here is his side of the story: "Somebody put a brownie shaped like a dog poop on my front porch with a note that said "Hap-pee Birthday" and "Don't eat yellow snow." It took guts to eat that first taste of brownie! But it was actually quite good."

Anna Loves Lights

Winter Walks

One day it was sunny and cold the next it was a blizard. Anna didn't mind the snow at first but when the wind started blowing the snow into her face she was not impressed and promptly ordered me to turn her away from the wind which put us in the direction of home. she stayed cozy warm in her toggle, eared, snow suit. 

Asian City

In South Jordan there is this wonderful store called Asian City. It is filled with oriental items. Its huge and is so much fun to walk around and explore. We found some paper umbrellas that Anna loved trying to hold and spin. 

Celebrating 4 Years

For our 4 year anniversary Zach took me out on one hot date. We headed to Salt Lake to enjoy fine dining at the Copper Onion. We highly recommend this joint.  I had the rack of lamb while Zach enjoyed the buttery, melt in your mouth, steak. All the food was divine. Our favorite was the cheese cake drizzled in Montana honey. Wow. That's the way to celebrate.

Four Months Old

Anna turned four. Months that is. She continues to bring joy and brightness to our lives and it's hard to imagine life without her now. It has been so much fun to watch her personality develop and to watch her reach so many fun developmental milestones. We love her and are grateful to have been blessed with her little spirit.

Anna likes to Party

Anna helped surprise her GG Barbara for her birthday. She had so much fun hanging out with her youthful GG, her gorgeous aunt Junko, and her silly aunt Paige.  Anna even tried on some hipster glasses in the buff at the after party. We sure love a naked Anna.
