Barcelona, Spain

My middle baby sister, Megan, was called to serve a mission in Spain, Barcelona! She will be speaking Spanish and reporting to the Spain MTC in June.

That means I will have two sisters out in the mission field working to bring the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Spain and Chicago. For more of what that means go HERE. I am so jealous of all the people and companions they will get to spend time with. I am also so excited to live vicariously through both of them. I know they will have similar experiences as well as widely different ones and I am excited to hear about it all. Of course I will have to share with you every now and again. It's what proud sister do.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Subway Station

The lovely Grand Central Terminal.

We had so much fun going to new and favorite sites around the city with the Finlayson family.  It is such a blessing to have family living on the East Coast with us and even more so that we actually enjoy each other! We can't wait to hang out again!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Week 15

We are on week 15. That puts little gummy bear at about 4 inches or the size of an orange. I don't have any cravings really and I still can squeeze into my jeans. Not sure how long this will last. So far this pregnancy is pretty great.

While we thoroughly enjoyed our hot chocolate, hot dog and fry stop at Papaya Dog on Saturday, we have made the goal of getting into shape and eating better. We aren't going to get into juice fasting and insanity exercising every day, but we are going to get back to basics. Eat less meat and a ton more fruits and veggies. We are taking the processed food out as much as we can. Basically when we eat at home its going to be  unprocessed when we eat out it might be something else. Wish us luck on our healthy endeavors!

Brooklyn Bridge

Sunday evening we headed Downtown to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Aside from the cold, we had a great time hanging out with some of our favorite people at one of our favorite places in New York. We are so glad they were able to spend the weekend with us!

Happy Monday everyone!

Temple and Eats

As we toured the city we headed to the Upper West Side to see the temple and eat delicious hot dogs. The temple is smack-dab in the middle of the city. It's on a busy corner and surrounded by other buildings and high rises. When you're inside though, you have no idea you are even in the city anymore.
Gray's Papaya was  so close and one of our must try's. You can get two delicious dogs and a fresh fruit drink for $4.99. I know, right?

Happy Thursday everyone!

Week 14

Profile with remainder of body lying to the left.

On it's head and turned to the right.

Profile with body stretching to the right. If you follow the arm you can see the bones in it's hands leading away from it's belly button.

A quick measurement from head to bum.  Head is bottom left bum is up to the right.

Great picture of the skeletal structure. Head on left. One arm is bent with hand by face, the other hand is close to it's leg. Look at those lovely bones forming away!

Happy Wednesday everyone!
