I love weddings!

As of today all of Zach's old Harris Hall roommates are married. Kolton was the last to go but we are so excited for him and can not wait to hang out as married couples especially since his wife is awesome.

These are our sartorialy minded wedding day outfits. Yeah, we do look good don't we.

I really do love weddings. Ever since Zach and I got married I just love them so much more! I remember how I felt on our glorious day and I get excited all over again for the newlyweds and for where I am now.

BYU-Idaho Center Dedication

Today Zach and I had the opportunity to go to a dedication of a new building that is a mini version of the Salt Lake conference center. It seats 15,000 people. Henry B. Eyering dedicated the building and he spoke to all of us as did Elder Nelson and David A. Bednar.
On our walk there Zach's mustache froze in the 0* air.

Merry Christmas

Since we have had snow for over a month now it is feeling pretty festive in Rexburg. The city has hung garlands and wreaths across main street and campus is decked out in wreaths and lights too getting me all in the mood for the holidays.
Here are some of our holiday spirit sprinkled around our little apartment.

Yes we decorated our house plant. Its not that we couldent afford a tree its that our apartment would not be able to handle it. Haha. Also a lot of baking has been done besides the gingerbread men, we had candy cane topped sugar cookies yesterday and chocolate covered rice crispy treats with green and red sprinkles. Hey we are pretty festive.
Merry Christmas!

Nose hair challenge

This is so gross but I have to post this. Over thanksgiving break my Aunt Laura waxed a few nose hairs. My dad won by far which is absolutely disgusting. Zach came in second and I am sure my grandpa had a lot because it made him cry. It was good entertainment.
Laura's surprised, grossed out face at the fuzz extracted from her older brothers nose.

Thanksgiving

We started the week off with some great beauty school fun. Laura waxed Zach's nose hairs and then dyed my hair. It was awesome to get some Laura time and a smidgen of new hair color.
On Tuesday we headed to Provo to steal Kimberly away from school before the "storm of the century" hit. Wow were we glad to be home before the light snowfall hit. We had a good time touring campus, riding on the rolling chairs and hanging out as a family.
Thanksgiving was an excellent day filled with delicious food. In the picture below we are coloring, it is a tradition of sorts to decorate our place mats for each year since November/December is the only time they ever come out.
For talent night Kim showed off her skills by creating our long awaited caricatures.
 Silly family picture.
 Oh what a cute family!
On Friday my mom, sisters and I went out with all the crazy shoppers and spent a solid 8 hours hunting for deals. I like to think i did pretty good walking away with an entire outfit for $10 from Forever 21, $13 king size sheets from Target and $20 set of clippers from Costco. Yay for sales!
Later that evening Zach, Kim, Meg, Mom and I walked around Temple Square to admire all the lights.

Anniversary

I have heard quite a few people say that the first year of marriage is the hardest. I am finding that hard to believe as this has been the best year of my life. I guess it hasn't been perfect but if it is the hardest then I really am the luckiest girl in the entire world.
The morning of our anniversary Zach sneaked out and bought me flowers and Hot Tamales. We were at my grandparents for the week of thanksgiving so they took us out for dinner that night. Afterward we caught a movie and came home to watch another one with my grandparents.
I have loved spending this year with my best friend and I am so excited for the years to come.
